Riding for Steven in Bike to Beat Cancer 2015

As we continue to look back and post images of the support we have received over the last year, we have to include some of the amazing things people are doing in honor of Steven, even if they don't directly affect our fund.

Last September, Steven's cousin, Brandon, participated in the Bike to Beat Cancer benefiting Norton Cancer Institute, where Steven was treated during his battle with cancer. Brandon biked 35 miles in honor and memory of Steven. Backed by the support of his family, he faced a challenge in support of an organization working toward helping those with cancer. That is something we will always support! Way to go, Brandon. We are so proud of you, and we know Steven would be proud too!

"Vanover's Green" at the 2015 St. Albert Golf Scramble

The 2015 St. Albert Golf Scramble in Louisville benefited the Steven Vanover Memorial Research and Scholarship Fund and we could not be more thankful for their support! Some members of SVMRSF participated in the tournament and had a blast. Steven graduated from St. Albert the Great Parish School in 2008, and his family members are parishioners of the church. We are so happy to have continued love and support from the St. Albert community.

  • Receiving support through charitable fundraising

Last August, the Steven Vanover Memorial Research and Scholarship Fund was one of the beneficiaries of the Charlie George Invitational (CGI) Charity Golf Tournament. The night before the CGI, players and friends gathered at Molly Malone's Irish Pub and Restaurant for a night of fundraising and fun. Read more from Card Chronicle and Cardinal Sports Zone.
